What is online Counselling all about?

Working online via video link with or without a camera has proved itself to be invaluable for those that either haven't got the extra time or cost for travel or prefer the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Anxiety sufferers

In the safety of your own space you can skip the stress provoking journey. You don't have to worry about public transport, parking a car, finding the building then meeting someone new especially when you're already flustered.

With a video call you can even choose to not share your image, this you can add and remove any time you would like.

Disabilities

Often physical disabilities hinder your motivation to seek the help of a counsellor because you may be house bound or the effort seems all too much when you need help to travel.

Strapped for time?

You can cut out the travel time. Sometimes we use our 'too busy' excuse to prevent us from seeking support.

How do I book an appointment?

Most Counsellors will allow you to book either by email, text or phone call together you arrange an appointment time convenient for you.

How much does it cost?

You can pay by Bank Account Transfer either with online banking or by popping into your local bank who will do it for you.

How does a session begin?

On the date and time of your appointment you will be sent either an email or text containing an invitation to your meeting with me. You click on this link which takes you straight to our meeting.

Does age matter?

Yes. Through experience I have began to realise that younger children may not benefit from online working. At home there are often too many distractions and the absence of physical presence may delay the therapeutic alliance between both parties. However this is always based on an individuals needs so if you have a query please feel free to contact me.

Can I pay per session?

Yes. It is important if you're not sure that you feel comfortable working 1 session at a time so most counsellors will allow you to pay one sessions at a time.
